1. I was born in Bartlesville, OK.  Raised in Yukon, OK.  I’m an Okie Gal through and through.  Just ask Josh about my accent! 
2. I’m known to listen to NPR and talk radio.  And I’m only 32!
3. I have 3 wonderful brothers, two older and one younger:  Danny, David and Michael.  I love them DEARLY.

This is my oldest brother Danny.  I FINALLY got to see his AWESOME band Tuff Profit play last weekend. 

4.    I’m somewhat addicted to magazines. 

5.    I miss my best friend SOMETHING FIERCE!!

6.    The iPhone is the GREATEST invention EVER!

7.    If I had the room and the resources I would rescue  and adopt LOADS of dogs.

8.    Laundry is THE WORST!

9.    We will, upon Josh’s retirement from the Army, start a successful restaurant/pub/live music and art venue, and it will be WAY WAY WAY COOL. 

10.  I really do have THE CUTEST kid!!!

I have no excuses.

I've been MIA, but it's not like I haven't been 'online'.

I'm lame, I know.

I have been doing things though!! We had a mini road trip to OK to see my nephew , Christian, off to join the ranks of the Marines.

I've been snapping pictures just about everyday for Project 365, just not posting. I'm still noodling on how I'm going to put the album together. I DID do the front page (hum, may wanna post that pic huh?) I ALSO was awarded highest in sales for January from my CTMH team! YEAH ME!! I got a super cute little goody basket too!!
Let see, what else.

Oh MY BIRTHDAY! Yuppers--it came. I saw. It left (thank goodness!!). Had a great gathering of friends over and we rocked out to Rock Band (have I mentioned my obsession with RB?? Another time then.)

In my non-working out laziness, I HAVE been scrapping and stamping. It would seem that the month of February is a HEAVY birthday month. I've cranked out a few BD cards (some even for January--LATE!!) Here is one of the BD cards that I sent out. Actually I did several variations of the same card for a few gals.

I have a good friend who as a teenage daughter that's going through that young-love-broken-hearted stage and was doing nothing but listening to what we dubbed 'slit-your-wrist' music (ok, not really, as I would never EVER contribute to that, but that's what Josh calls sappy sad songs.)

I {HEART} Valentine's Day

Last Saturday I had a Valentine's Day card class that I thought went pretty darn well. I have just recently started offering these classes for the girls that I scrap with. I don't really make any money, and what I do make it goes right back into my supplies! Which works for me.


CTMH Supplies Used:

That's Amore DSP
Cardstock: Blush, Chocolate, and Colonial White
Inks: Tulip and Chocolate
Stamps: All of my Love and February Word Puzzle
Extras: Chocolate Grosgrain Ribbon, Red Stickles, corner rounder, pop-dots, and 1 1/4 inch circle punch.

Most of my girls are beginners, so I try to keep it relatively simple. I'm *really* loving the That's Amore paper, it's just gorgeous!

GENIUS......

.......at least I THINK so!!

As I was pondering this whole 365 Project, I was trying to work in a way to incorporate it into my CTMH business and a way to get the girls (my stamping and scrapping group of friends) involved as well. I was racking my brain, and Josh (my most awesome husband!) was packing his ruck sack for his JRTC trip and BAM!!

HELLLLOOO--this is THE perfect project for families of deployed soldiers (as I find myself to be AGAIN here in a few months!!)

I mean, it's GENIUS, right?

A day to day account of life while the guys are away. Plus, it keeps us wives from sitting about WAITING, but instead we can be busy CREATING!!!

I just love it!

I'm jumping in...

Yuppers---I'm going to do it: Project 365 (and yes, I know--I'M BEHIND!! When am I NOT!!). I first heard about it over on Ali Edwards blog, which then I followed to the photjojo site. Then ran across another blog (??) that lead me to Becky's.

Totally like a 6 Degree's of Kevin Bacon trip, huh?

It's going to be a TON of work. I'm going to have to be VERY diligent. But I really think it will be well worth it though.

That's my hope.

My plan is to incorporate as much Close to my Heart goodies as I can.

Oh, did I mention that I'm a CTMH consultant?

Yea, I am!! I was with SU! for YEARS and just recently switched over and I am ABSOLUTELY loving it!! I've got a handful of customers, some of whom actually host gatherings, who knew? I'm ACTUALLY making a tid bit of money. Well, enough to supplement my little scrapping obsession.

*I'm rambling now; back on topic*

I plan on doing, oh say, 80% CTMH products. I've banned together with a CTMH yahoo group that is also joining in on the 365 journey and I'm hoping that will keep me on task (as I get easily distracted it would seem!) and inspired.

Hopefully this won't be a 'one hit wonder' but you never can tell!

Not so great with New Year's Resolutions

Yes, it's Jan 5th, not the 1st, but I've been noodling around about actually getting involved in the whole BLOG world, and thought of it as a sort of New Year's Resolution.

Yea, that was 5 days ago. I'm ALREADY behind.

But I'm not going to be anal about it. It won't be a daily thing, as much as I would LOVE to do something daily, say the 365 Photo Challenge, but I will be blogging, oh yes I will!

I also want to get in better shape, do more scrapping, along with several dozen other 'resolutions'.

What THIS blog will entail will be mundane everyday life ramblings (yea, BOOOORING for you, but a way to help with my journaling for scrapping), occasional stamping entries (whether it be cards, SB pages, or projects), tv/movie thoughts, and various other current events/pop culture topics.

That's it. Not too hard, huh??

We'll see.

These Dreams...

It's silliness, really, dreams. At least that is what most of us think, we really don't want to think too much about these random (are they so random?) thoughts that seep into our brains while we slumber. Frightening? Yes, at times. Revealing? Sure, if we allow it. And that's where things go a bit crazy. How much should we take into account when it comes to our nightime visions?

Dreaming about something that you haven't thought about in years, while a bit odd, upon waking, you think, why? Why in the world would you dream about that? Especially if it's about a person. A person that you haven't even thought about for a blink of an eye for 10 years or so. What do you make of it? For the remainder of the day, it nags at you, like that annoying sore in your mouth that you just can't stop tonguing. Do you indulge in thinking about the dream, and the implications of it? Remembering the past, the what might have been if you would have made a different choice. All the while, reminding yourself that then, you were a child, a knower of nothing, not capable of making any sort of decision, truly lost.

It's weird how the subconscious reacts to things. Was it a movie, or a song that prompted this dream? Huh, you'll never know! Ah dreams! What WOULD we do without them?

Adding a third pick....

So, after watching, and being obsessed with all things Felicity, I have turned a bit inward into my own life. Felicity had two guys, Ben and Noel, to choose from. Same here. But then I went and added a third one. Then went on to pick the third one. How is that? Should I just have stuck and made the choice between the two? Oh well, the world and I will never know. I shouldn't dwell. It just makes you crazy. The grass on the other side and all. Why even bother to go there, just gazing at it and pondering which side is best, knowing that once you get there, the other will always be better. The whole, you always want what you don't have, especially when it's just out of your reach. You just have to take that step, jump, leap--- F-A-I-T-H. Which I have very very little of, when it comes just about to everything. That's what I have to work on, I have to get the FAITH.

In the beginning...

It' so hard. What to write? What to say? It's just a silly blog, but yet, what if someone is actually out there reading? Who knows! This is the internet and all. So, at the moment this is all I'm going to write. Just that this is the start. Something new for me to do until life takes over. So, stay tuned!
